Clary sage a Holy Sage
Some years ago, a new strain, one of the world’s 2,400 different strains of the sage plant, was discovered – clary sage (Latin - salvia sclarea). A team of Israeli scientists from the Israeli ARO (Agriculture Research Organization) spent seven years investigating the newly discovered special strain, and detected the presence of Omega 3 fatty acids.
A few facts about the discovered plant:
1. The clary sage plant grows naturally in fields without insecticides.
2. The plant contains a very high concentration of Omega 3, as well as 100 other active ingredients.
3. The oil produced from the seeds is marvelously stable.
4. The plant’s effectiveness has been confirmed in clinical studies carried out by academic institutions around the world.

NATURAL COLD PRESSED ORGANIC OMEGA3
THE MOST STABLE SOURCE OF OMEGA-3 IN NATURE...
Better than fish oil. Better than flax oil. Better than chia seeds.
MARVALOUS OMEGA-3 SAGE OIL
Adiel Tel-Oren, famous for his brilliant approach to wellness, introduces a breakthrough which will make a difference for the Omega-3 industry. Research has now revealed that the Clary Sage Seed oil is a superior source of ALA Omega 3. It is stable for two years at room temperature. This means it maintains all of its richness and potency without going rancid.
It is raw, cold-pressed and contains over 100 other active agents important to human body functions. Among these are natural co-enzyme Q10, Vitamin E (all 4 types), 9 types of natural phytosterols which decrease bad cholesterol levels and many rare anti-oxidants. It also includes anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-viral and cancer preventing elements.
What is Omega 3?
Omega 3 is a fatty acid that is essential for optimal functionality of the human body. Although it is found throughout nature, omega 3 does not naturally occur in humans, which means that we need to consume foods rich in omega 3 on a daily basis. Over the recent past, significant research has been conducted on omega 3, which determined the following health benefits:
Combats inflammatory diseases, including arthritis, lupus, and asthma
Increases general cardiovascular and neurological health
Maintains healthy skin and hair
Contributes toward healthy fetus development
Facilitates calcium absorption in the digestive system
What are the advantages of sage oil?
There are many sources of omega 3. None, however, have been proven to be as safe or effective as sage. The advantages of sage oil as a source of omega 3 are as follows:
Safe for any age
100% natural
No heavy metal contaminants
Stable – slow oxidation
Gluten-free
Does not contain allergens
Natural source of vitamin E and co-enzyme Q10
Organic source of antioxidants
Natural anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial
No side effects
Two important facts about Omega 3 from sage:
1. Mother’s milk provides vegetable Omega 3 (ALA) to nursing babies.
2. Substitutes for mother’s milk are also required to include vegetable Omega 3 (ALA).
Active ingredient:
The oil is 100% natural through cold picklin pressed oil from the sage vegetable, in soft capsules.
What does vegetable Omega 3 (ALA) contribute in its own right, independently of its transforming into long Omega 3 acids (EPA, DHA)?
Omega 3 from sage has many benefits, including the following:
1. Helps maintain a healthy heart and brain.
2. Helps maintain healthy skin and hair.
3. Combats inflammatory diseases.
4. Assists in proper development of fetuses and babies.
5. Helps the digestive system absorb calcium.
Salvia Sclarea (Clary Sage) Seed Oil:
The most efficient and stable form of Omega 3 in Nature
Where does the human body carry Omega 3?
Every cell in the human body carries Omega 3 in the cell envelop. This allows for its stability, strength, flexibility and is influential in hormonal and enzyme receptor ability. It also enables better cell metabolism, and is therefore needed for proper and healthy cell activity.
Is Omega 3 needed on a daily basis?
In most cells, the envelop is renewed every 2-3 days. Therefore, Omega 3 replenishment is needed on a daily basis. Another common fatty acid in the human body is Omega 6, which contributes to infectious processes in the body. On the other hand, Omega 3 discourages and prevents infections. In fact, there is equilibrium in the body of both Omega 3 and Omega 6. Unfortunately, modern Western cousin is rich in Omega 6 and poor in Omega 3 content. In the Western world, the ratio of Omega 6 to Omega 3 is 16:1 in favor of the Omega 6. It is therefore extremely advantageous to consume Omega 3 on a daily basis in order to return the body’s natural equilibrium and health.
In which types of food can we find substantial amounts of Omega 3?
Can these food types be a daily source of Omega 3?
Fish, especially deep-sea large fish from the North Sea (for example from Norway), algae, walnuts, canola oil, flax seeds, sage seed oil.
Fish contain multi-acidic proteins. Acidic food overloads the kidneys and delays its functions, encourages Osteoporosis and increases the chances of malignant diseases. In addition, fish are contaminated by heavy metals – in particular mercury, which is very poisonous. Mercury is able to travel both via the umbilical cord during pregnancy, and via breast milk at the breastfeeding stage. Of the three types of Omega 3, fish contain only two – EPA and DHA – not ALA. ALA is the main (primary) type of Omega 3 and the origin of the other two types of Omega 3 (EPA and DHA). Furthermore, the ALA carries additional advantageous characteristics regardless of its ability to transform into EPA and DHA. The disadvantages in consumption of fish outweigh the advantages. Omega 3 originating from fish oil is inefficient – most of the oil is oxidized and does not show significant benefits.
Algae:
Most algae do not contain large amounts of Omega 3. Sea algae absorb many chemicals found in the waters and taste of sea water. Due to the fact that Omega 3 is prone to oxidization, effective consumption means that only fresh algae should be eaten. An adult would need to consume one full pot of algae in order to arrive at the recommended daily dose of Omega 3. Not practical.
Walnuts:
In roasted or ready-to-eat (cracked shell) walnuts most of the Omega 3 is already oxidized and spoiled. One would have to buy whole untreated walnuts and crack them prior to consumption. An adult would have to consume 12 walnuts a day in order to get a meaningful amount of Omega 3. Therefore, a family of 5 would have to crack and eat around 60 walnuts a day. In addition to it not being a practical solution, this would probably cause weight gain in most people.
Canola Oil:
In normal canola oil, most of the Omega 3 is already oxidized due to the process of making the oil. Only cold press canola oil will contain Omega 3, albeit not very stable and easily spoiled. Oxidized oil is not only inefficient but can be harmful as well. On the whole, canola oil is not a good source of Omega 3.
Flax Seeds:
At room temperature, flax seed oil will oxidize after only 20 minutes. Ground seeds will oxidize after 1 day. This is their biggest shortcoming. Moreover, flax seeds contain a large quantity of Fitoastrogans (3 times that found in soy beans), which may cause hormonal imbalance. Flax seeds also contain poison from the cyanide substance family. This is not an efficient source of daily Omega 3.
Using Salvia plant:
For hundreds and thousands of years, humans have known the heeling and cosmetic virtues of sage in using it as a medicinal plant. There are known to be over 2400 kinds of sage plants. Only a few are appropriate for human consumption.
Salvia Sclarea (Clary Sage) Seed Oil:
A breakthrough discovery in recent history (1990s) revealed the amazing properties of clary sage seed oil: roughly 50 % is composed of ALA-type Omega 3. Clary Sage seed oil also bears unique natural attributes, making it the best, most stable and active source of Omega 3 in the world. This amazing substance helps the human body in all stages, from pregnancy (presence in the placenta) through breastfeeding (transfers via breast milk to newborn) and youth to old age. Natural oxidization will not occur in Clary Sage seed oil for a period of two years (a fact that defies the natural characteristics of oils and there proneness to easy oxidization). In addition, it has been discovered that Clary Sage seed oil contains 25% Omega 9, which is known to reduce high blood pressure and is important for brain functions and to a person’s memory abilities. There are over 100 other active agents important to human body functions. Amongst these are natural co-enzyme Q10, Vitamin E (all 4 types), 9 types of natural sterols which decrease bad cholesterol levels and many rare anti-oxidants. Other active agents include anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-viral and cancer preventing elements. Clary Sage seed oil does not contain any PIT and estrogens. It is hypo allergenic and does not contain any poisonous elements (which can be found in other sources of Omega 3).
Are there any witness accounts from users of Clary Sage seed oil?
Clary Sage seed oil is known to have a significant effect on various inflammatory diseases. Accounts from consumers who suffer from the following diseases range from mild amelioration to the actual cessation of symptoms: Psoriasis (disappeared after only 3 months), Crohn’s disease, Colitis, Arthritis, Lupus (SLE), Rheumatoid Arthritis, Chronic Sinusitis, Chronic Mucosal, gum infections, acne, Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD). Furthermore there are many accounts that Clary Sage seed oil decreases bad cholesterol levels, significantly reduces triglyceride levels, improves alertness and increases energy levels. It also improves symptoms of Fibromyalgia (FMG), Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), general mood, and even hair and skin look healthier.
What are the main reasons for the effectiveness of Clary Sage seed oil, and why don’t other sources of Omega 3 show such effectiveness?
As we have seen in this article, we can obtain Omega 3 from a number of sources. Furthermore, we have learnt that Omega 3 is essential to the human body at the cell level. The effectiveness of Clary Sage seed oil Omega 3 derives from the fact that it does not oxidize like Omega 3 from other known sources. This fact, coupled with the extremely high rate of Omega 3 (and other essential substances) has proven to be the essence of the effectiveness of this oil and its excellence when compared to other sources of Omega 3. It is precisely due to these reasons that, when compared to Clary Sage seed oil Omega 3, we have not seen significant improvements when consuming Omega 3 from other sources.
The same would be correct to mention when writing about the anti-inflammatory properties of Clary Sage seed oil Omega 3. The oxidization process in other Omega 3 sources decreases dramatically its effectiveness in inflammatory diseases.
A number of internationally renowned laboratories and scientists have examined Clary Sage seed oil Omega 3 and have determined that this is the most stable and therefore most active source of Omega 3 known today. This is most probably due to the fact that the oil contains many combinations of natural anti-oxidants which stabilize and increase its effectiveness. Many of the other natural agents present in Clary Sage seed oil interact and synergize with its main ingredient (Omega 3) to amplify its effectiveness.
Clary Sage seed oil will benefit babies, toddlers, pregnant women*, breastfeeding moms, old-aged people, sick and healthy people. In fact, we could all benefit from the qualitative characteristics of Clary Sage seed oil.
Did you know that Omega 3 reduces the risk of getting Alzheimer’s disease?
A new study published by the St. Luke Medical Center in Chicago shows that people who consume at least one portion of fish per week reduce their risk of getting Alzheimer’s disease dramatically, compared with those who eat almost no fish. This study also shows that consumption of Omega 3 capsules have been shown to cause the same reduction in the risk of getting Alzheimer’s disease.
Omega 3 fatty acids play an important role in maintaining the wholeness of the blood vessels and muocardia, facts that are certainly important for proper brain functioning. Recently, however, it has also been learned that they also serve as effective anti-inflammatory agents in brain tissue, which is another mechanism that reduces the risk of degenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer’s.
Did you know that consuming Omega 3 alleviates depression?
High consumption of Omega 3 helps reduce the frequency of depression in women. A new study shows that consumption of fish containing a large amount of Omega 3 is likely to reduce the incidence of depression by 30%. Researchers at the Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago noted that women who consume food supplements benefited more than men, and that while it was clear that consumption of Omega 3 reduced the risk of general depression in the general population, the differences were more pronounced among the women examined in the study.
Did you know that consumption of Omega 3 reduces the incidence of migraine headaches?
Two studies conducted in Sweden and Norway discovered that migraine headaches were extremely rare among Inuit Indians living in Greenland, whose diet is based on a combination of fish, meat, and fat – a diet that is extremely rich in Omega 3 fatty acids.
Researchers evaluating the strength of Omega 3 in preventing migraines had their subjects consume Omega 3 for three months. They found that it reduced the frequency of migraine attacks by 28%, and the force of the attacks by 32%.

Crisis in the Fish Oil Industry
For years we've been taking fish oil to get our Omega 3's. The packages look so inviting. Clear blue waters, pristine looking oceans.....Ah, so clean and pure, right? NOT. Today's oceans are polluted big time. They are full of all kinds of toxic waste. How about mercury? Ah, that's old hat. Ok, so put this in your pipe and smoke it - PCB's. What's that, you ask? PCB stands for Polychlorinated biphenyl, which is a man made chemical.
The production of PCB's started in the 1920 but stopped in many countries in 1970 because of the possible risks to human health and the environment. They used to be used as an insulating material in electric equipment such as transformers and were present in many products including inks, adhesives and paints.
Since 1929 around 2 million tonnes of PCB's have been produced, about 10% of which still remain in the environment today.
Remember the pictures of the beached whales? The dead ones? Well, post mortems on a particular group of whales showed large amounts of PCB's which they had ingested, which had completely messed up their sonar and that's why they wound up on the beach and not in the ocean. That's because PCB's destroy the nervous system. Cancerous growths were also found in their bodies. Lots of them.
Then there was Ukrainian president, Viktor Yuschenko. It is believed that his political rivals decided to poison him and put dioxins/pcbs in his food. Here are before and after pictures. In the after picture he has "chloracnea" brought on by the chemicals
